The Society of St. Vincent dePaul is a worldwide organization of Catholic men and women dedicated to ministering to individuals and families in times of need.
The Society is made up of small groups known as Conferences who follow the society's spiritual practices and its procedures for determining needs, developing solutions and offering assistance.
All conferences are governed by locally elected officers. We are so fortunate to serve God and our neighbors with our very own local conferences, one at St.Isidore and one at St. Elizabeth.
The Society works with the young and old, the employed and those seeking employment, the lonely and those surrounded by family. What they share in common is the need for a helping hand due to an unforeseen event. St. Vincent DePaul offers confidentail person to person services to those in need in our communities. There are SVDP collection boxes in the entry way of both parishes.
Are you called to this mission? It's a small commitment of time for a rich reward of service.
