I am excited to share something new and wonderful happening in our Apple Valley Catholic community! On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from Noon to 6:00p, we are hosting our 1st Annual Food Truck & Craft Beer Fest in the lower parking lot at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Mark your calendars and spread the word.
This will be a festive afternoon filled with great food, local brews, live music, and fun for the whole family. Whether you’re a fan of food trucks, enjoy sampling craft beer, or just want a relaxing afternoon with friends and neighbors, there will truly be something for everyone.
You’ll also find non-alcoholic beverages, children’s activities, and live bands providing entertainment throughout the day. We’re asking a suggested donation of $10 at the door and free to those 12 and under. Food and drink will be available for purchase from our visiting vendors. All proceeds will support the ongoing ministries of our parishes.
As with other special events we have held over the years, we are constantly experimenting with new and exciting ways to engage both our parishioners and non-parishioners in the towns that we serve. This festival will be a wonderful opportunity to spend time together with family and friends, enjoy the crisp and colorful fall weather, and share in the simple joy of good food and fellowship.
We’ll need many hands to help make this event a success! In the coming weeks, we’ll open volunteer sign-ups for those willing to help with hospitality, check-in, ticket sales, children’s activities, and more. Whether you can give an hour or the whole afternoon, your help will be deeply appreciated.
This celebration is open to all—parishioners, family, and friends from Acton, Boxborough, Stow, and surrounding towns. Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and let’s enjoy a beautiful fall day together as a community.
Come for the food, stay for the fellowship—and leave with a full heart (and stomach)!
Looking forward to seeing you there! In Christ, Fr. Jeff
