For the second year, we are running a special Holiday Raffle, where the grand prize winner will receive $5000! The proceeds from this raffle will support the general operations of both Saint Isidore and Saint Elizabeth of Hungary as well as various ministries at the church, including our young family ministries, our social justice ministry, our ministry for the homebound, our partnership with Lazarus House in Lawrence, and our other hospitality ministries. At the request of our parishioners, this year we will hold the raffle drawing LIVE on January 6th as part of a Christmas/New Year's Celebration Potluck Dinner at Saint Isidore.
Preparing for reopening has been no small task. Our goal is to open with a safe environment, keep everyone healthy and also continue to offer quality participation in Mass online for those who remain unable to attend in person.
Please Note - The target reopening is the weekend of June 13-14, NOT June 6-7, as stated in in the Constant Contact email posted May 27. As the email also indicated, the date is dependent upon a lot of factors. Thank you for your patience as we strive to complete the opening criteria and provide a safe experience when we begin to gather.
On Sunday at 9:30 a.m., one of our Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) volunteers will be leading a Facebook Live lesson and reflection on this weekend's readings, from their own home. The Live event will take place on the Apple Valley Catholic Collaborative's Facebook Page. Please gather your young children and join us!
