March 29 11:30 AM (LUNCH) – 4:45 PM St. Elizabeth of Hungary
As we journey through life, we inevitably encounter moments of loss and grief, which can often feel overwhelming and confusing. In recognition of this, we would like to extend our invitation to you and offer our support. We understand that the pain of losing a loved one can be all-encompassing, leaving us with a sense of emptiness and longing.
Our upcoming retreat, Living Through Loss: Coping with Grief and Loss, is designed to provide a nurturing and healing space for those who have experienced a recent or past loss. This retreat is an opportunity for you to take the time to explore various aspects of grief, including the challenges it presents, the importance of self-care, and how to find hope and healing amidst the pain.
Our retreat leader, Anne Marie Mahoney, will explore coping with grief and loss. Drawing from her own experiences, she developed a bereavement program that helps individuals use grief as a tool for healing. She offers this program in parishes and senior centers. She is the author of A New Parish Guide to Grief Ministry: Creative Ways to Implement a Program of Healing and Growth, published by Twenty-Third Publications.
Please note that registration is required to ensure we can adequately prepare for each participant. Registration closes on Monday March 24 at 5:00p.
