We have resumed Acton Food Pantry donations at St. Elizabeth’s and encourage anyone who would like to donate to leave items in the designated area of the welcome space as you enter church. We will arrange to transport items to the pantry on a regular basis. Since its inception in 1984, the mission of the Acton Food Pantry has been to distribute nutritious food to those who need it in Acton and surrounding towns. In these difficult economic times, the need is greater than ever and the pantry serves on average over 250 households per week. Items that are always welcome include unexpired canned foods (e.g., soups, meat, fruit, vegetables, etc.), pasta, pasta sauce, rice, cereals and other non-perishable foods.
