It helps to explain why we are engaged in this endeavor of taking up study of the Bible. AsThis four-week study focuses on how the Second Vatican Council clarified and updated the place of the Bible for the Church in the document known as Dei Verbum. The council expanded the use of Bible texts in the lectionary and encouraged our personal study. such, the character of this study is more ABOUT the Bible than a study OF the Bible. This study will begin Tuesday evening June 8 at 7:30 p.m. It will be held over Zoom. A small text and study guide must be ordered for study ahead of the first session.
