Growing in Faith Together sessions take place monthly between Labor Day and the Easter Season. Each month we run the same session three times in order to accommodate the large number of participants and their different schedules. Every session begins with a meal. What follows will vary from month to month, but usually includes an opening activity in common and age-appropriate breakouts (K-4 including at least one parent, middle school, high school, and adult). Somemes we reassemble for a concluding acvity. Each session runs no longer than 2 1/2 hours. Questions, contact Barbara or click here to register.
During Children’s Liturgy of the Word, also known as CLOW, children in grades K-5 are dismissed from the assembly following the opening prayers to the church hall, where the readings and Gospel are proclaimed and then reflectd upon in a way that is accessible for our young parishioners. They return to the church during the time of the Presentation of the Gifts. Parents are welcome to attend, but must attend with children age 4 and under.
CLOW is offered most Sunday mornings at the St. Isidore 8:45 a.m. and the St. Elizabeth at 10:45 a.m. Masses.
If you have any questions about CLOW, or would like to join our ministry team, please contact Joan , 978-263-4305 ext. 17.
Children, along with a parent, typicallylly begin the preparation program for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist (Communion) in the fall of their second grade school year. Preparation for theses sacraments occurs alongside the participation of parent and child in our Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) program.
