Welcome to the Apple Valley Catholic Community!
We are a community of two Roman Catholic parishes, St. Elizabeth of Hungary and St. Isidore, serving the communities of Acton, Boxborough, Stow and beyond! We come together to help people encounter and grow in their relationship with God.
We believe that all are called to be on a spiritual journey and what matters is not where a person is on that journey, but actually being on the journey itself. Therefore, we seek to welcome all people regardless of the stage of their spiritual life, their struggles and failures. We welcome you!
Our mission reflects the Great Commission of Jesus Christ; to go and make disciples!
And Jesus came and said to them [the disciples], “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
We strive to be a joyful and faith filled community that is:
Our purpose is to bring people to Jesus, form disciples and transform the world!
We are a welcoming community that joyfully gathers around the Table so that, together, we may love and empower God’s people and better serve the world as Christ’s heart, hands and feet.
Rooted in Worship through the liturgy, prayer and sacraments, we believe that transformation is possible for each person! We do this through creating a culture of Welcome and by providing opportunities to Encounter Jesus Christ; to Connect with others on the journey, to Grow in faith and discipleship; to Empower all to know and use their God-given gifts to share in fulfilling the mission; and to Serve others through outreach.
No matter your age or how many steps you have or have not already journeyed in your faith, we are here to walk with you and assist you on your faith journey. A journey that can lead to exciting revelations of fundamental questions that humanity has been asking throughout history: Who are we? Why are we here? Where are we going?

“I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each day. No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since 'no one is excluded from the joy brought by the Lord.”
