Parishioners over 10 years of age who have received their First Eucharist, and adults, are invied to consider this wonderful ministry. Altar Servers have the privilege of assisting the priest at the altar during Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Training is provided to learn about and understand what happens during Mass, to prepare for the specific tasks of the role and to nurture the reverence and importance of active participation in the celebration of the Eucharist.

Altar servers also receive a number of blessings as part of the ministry indluding hands-on experience with the liturgical celebration; personal growth with age-appropriate responsibility; friendship and faith sharing within the ministry. Servers are coordinated separately for each parish in the collaborative. Please reach to the Coordinator for the church which you would like to be considered for this ministry.
